Vita is Latin for life. It is in our name because it is the point of everything we do. The purpose of VitaCare Living is to add LIFE to the years of our residents and staff: caring communities that protect the freedom and dignity of residents and staff as they pursue their purpose.

Three words carry the promise. Each has a specific meaning inside a VitaCare home.
Freedom
A home is a place where your day is your own. Residents shape how they spend their time, what matters to them, and what they would like to do next. Our team arranges care around those choices, not the other way around.
Dignity
Care is done with people, never to them. Every resident is known by name, by story, and by preference, and every interaction is handled with the respect we would want for our own parents.
Purpose
Growing older does not mean stepping back from life. Our residents wake up each day with another opportunity to grow and improve the world around them, and we build days that give them reasons to.

VitaCare Living is 17 communities and 24 homes across Minnesota and Wisconsin, and every one of them is a true home, not an institution. Smaller, home-like settings with high staff-to-resident ratios mean our people know each resident personally: their routines, their stories, their favorite chair.
Our homes are thoughtfully placed near healthcare facilities, so residents have seamless access to a full range of medical services while living in a setting that feels like the neighborhood they came from.
